On September 12, during the 2026 International Low-Altitude Industry Conference, Nanjing hosted the ceremony of the 2026 CICC Science and Technology Awards. After three stages — qualification review, evaluation and final review — awards went to 81 projects and 14 individuals this year.

With partner organizations, EFY won a second prize in the 2026 CICC Science and Technology Progress Award for the project “Key Technologies and Applications of Cooperative Navigation and Positioning for Air-Sea Cross-Domain Unmanned Swarms”.

Authoritative recognition

The Chinese Institute of Command and Control (CICC), registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs, is China’s only national-level society in the science and technology of command and control.

The institute presents the CICC Science and Technology Awards in three categories.

One of them, the CICC Science and Technology Progress Award, is presented once a year and to no more than 30% of the entries. It recognizes projects that have made creative contributions to command and control through technology development, technological innovation, or the application and dissemination of advanced scientific and technological results.

EFY’s award-winning project, “Key Technologies and Applications of Cooperative Navigation and Positioning for Air-Sea Cross-Domain Unmanned Swarms”, tackles the problems air-sea cross-domain unmanned swarms face in complex environments: unstable navigation references, limited precise positioning and inefficient swarm cooperation. Its overall technology has reached a leading level both in China and internationally.
